From July 10th, 2021 live on stage for the opera season "La Traviata", with the staging signed by Maestro Franco Zeffirelli.

A stellar cast for an opera that gives unique emotions: as the protagonist Violetta will alternate on stage Aida Garifullina, Lisette Oropesa, Sonya Yoncheva (at her debut in the Arena) and Ailyn Pérez, while the male role of Alfredo will be played by four authentic stars: Francesco Meli, Vittorio Grigolo, Celso Albelo and Saimir Pirgu.

The opera in three acts by Giuseppe Verdi, set to an Italian libretto by Francesco Maria Piave, is considered part of a "popular trilogy" together with Il Trovatore and Rigoletto. Based on "La Dame aux camélias" (1852), a play adapted from the 1848 novel by Alexandre Dumas fils, La Traviata is set in late 19th century bohemian Paris and tells the love story between the woman of the world Violetta Valéry and Alfredo Germont.

Under pressure from Alfredo's father, Giorgio, and with no way out, the woman writes a distraught letter to Alfredo explaining her nostalgia for her beloved Paris. Alfredo, angry, perjuring her in front of everyone by throwing money at her feet. Once the truth is known, the man runs to ask her forgiveness, but she, sick with consumption, after seeing him for the last time, dies.
