The 2023/24 jazz season of the Teatro Ristori develops in the name of research and innovation, concepts that act as a common thread throughout the unmissable eight dates of the event.
The first appointment is Thursday 14th September with the legendary drummer Steve Gadd. On stage with him Michael Blicher, award-winning Danish saxophonist, and the hammond organ wizard, Dan Hemmer. Joey Calderazzo's quartet will perform on October 31st.
It continues on November 16th with Marco Bardoscia Quintet in “Legnomadre”. The first concert of the new year will be entrusted on January 31st to Maria Pia De Vito with her quintet, in "This woman's work". Piano icon Bill Laurence and multi-instrumentalist Michael League will give us their energy on February 13th. March 17th is an evening dedicated entirely to Brad Mehldau's piano. On April 30th, for International Jazz Day, Gonzalo Rubalcaba will perform on the piano.
The event will close on May 15th with John Patitucci, American bassist and double bass player of Italian origins, accompanied by Dave Weckl on drums and Joey Calderazzo on piano.
