Conegliano and Valdobbiadene

It is easy to fall in love with these romantic and charming landscapes

A little under an hour from Venice, to the north of the Treviso province, you find gently sloping hills planted with centuries-old vines.  The magical atmosphere of these lands invites you to lose yourself on a journey of cities of art, rural villages and good food.  On this journey, you will be accompanied by the ever-present fragrance of a special wine.  Because these hills are the homeland of Prosecco, the most famous bubbles in the world.

Here, you move from city of art to the local culture of wine growing and the art of living well. The “Strade del Prosecco e Vini dei Colli Conegliano Valdobbiadene” (Road of the Prosecco and Wines of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Hills) will lead you in the discovery of ancient castles, noble villas, hermitages and abbeys.  This will, of course, include recommendations for visiting one of the many wine cellars, where food lovers will be sure to find the highest quality food and wine !

The most interesting local towns and villages are Conegliano (the birth place of the Renaissance painter, Giambattista Cima), Valdobbiadene, Vittorio Veneto and Follina (member of the Club of the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy).

Each place is a treasure chest of natural, artistic and architectural riches, as well as offering many recreational opportunities for sports enthusiasts and fans of active tourism.
