An enchanted valley where nature maintains its essence

Who sees the Val Fiorentina for the first time falls in love with it immediately. This valley made of ancient villages, centuries-old woods and Dolomite peaks included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites (Pelmo, Civetta and Marmolada) is a small paradise at about an altitude of 1,350 meters. 

The towns of Pescul, Santa Fosca, Selva di Cadore offer an infinite number of summer and winter activities dedicated both to sports lovers and to those who are only looking for a bit of relaxation and clean air.

SUMMER

The main attraction are the many proposals for trekking and walking in the midst of nature, with well signposted trails. For mountain biking it is a must to do the Man of Mondeval Tour, a spectacular course of approximately 46 kilometres among breathtaking landscapes. And speaking of Mondeval, drop by Selva di Cadore, the Museo Civico Vittorino Cazzetta, where the burial place of a Mesolithic hunter who became famous as the Man of Mondeval.is preserved.

WINTER

Selva di Cadore, and the other towns of the valley, are included in the Civetta Ski ski area, the largest in Veneto with its 80 km of slopes, two of which are illuminated for night time descent. There is also a cross-country skiing centre with 4 loops of various difficulties and two snowparks. Children instead have fun in the hamlet of Santa Fosca where there is the field school with inflatable games and a sledge run.
