Misurina

Called the "Pearl of the Dolomites" for its beauty and splendour

Misurina is a small and charming resort in the heart of the Dolomites, a hamlet in the municipality of Auronzo di Cadore. Some of the most beautiful mountains in the Alps are reflected in the blue waters of its lake: the Sorapìs, Cristallo and the Cadini Group. But it’s the sharp profiles of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, historic symbol of the Belluno province that holds the gaze of the visitor. For lovers of high altitude adventures, the beauty of these natural monuments of rock, tells the stories of a century and a half of mountaineering.

SUMMER

There are numerous proposals for outdoor activities: trekking and Nordic walking, mountain biking, climbing, free climbing, sport fishing. But the most coveted destination remains perhaps the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, that can be reached both on foot and by car, along the toll road that starts from Misurina. A paradise for lovers of the mountains, the Tre Cime are the perfect gym for climbing and walking.

WINTER

Abundant snow makes Misurina an ideal destination for winter tourism. About thirty kilometres of slopes of every difficulty between Monte Agudo and Col de Varda, offer exciting downhill skiing or snowboarding in a panorama with unique charm. For cross country skiing with tracks of varying difficulty there is the nearby forest of Somadida. Neverending fun for the little ones in the Tre Cime Park playground with the hiring of sleds and rafts, while for the first descent there are the field school teachers (with baby skilifts on the slopes of Monte Agudo).
