A unique event on the Italian territory, which unites a world-famous band and an excellent location: on Tuesday 5 July in concert at the Arena the Gorillaz, the most famous virtual British band in the world.
Damon Albam and the other members performs on stage to present their latest album "Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez" and the hits of an incredible musical repertoire. The virtual band Gorillaz is formed by the 2D singer, the bassist Murdoc Niccals, the guitarist Noodle and the drummer Russel Hobbs. Created by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, they established themselves with success with their self-titled album in 2001. Subsequent albums, Demon Days (2015), Plastic Beach (2010), The Fall (2011), Humanz (2017) and The Now Now (2018) earned the band Brits and Grammy Awards.
Having become a true global phenomenon, Gorillaz have achieved success in a totally innovative way, playing all over the world from San Diego to Syria and winning numerous awards including the prestigious Jim Henson Creativity Honor. Albarn, originally a member of the band Blur, contributed with Oasis to the rebirth of britpop, and is still considered today as one of the most influential members of the English scene.
