The great Brazilian singer-songwriter Marisa Monte will be in concert at the Roman Theater on Sunday 28th July.
Marisa de Azevedo Monte, better known as Marisa Monte, is a well-known Brazilian singer, composer and record producer. Her show «Marisa Monte – Os maiores sucessos» will present the important moments of the singer-songwriter's career which spans more than three decades.
The collaborations with the greatest artists of contemporary music are unforgettable, from Arto Lindsay to David Byrne. His greatest success is the project founded with Arnaldo Antunes and Carlinhos Brown, with whom he founded the “Tribalistas”. The album of the same name is considered revolutionary in the panorama of Brazilian popular music. It contains songs considered true milestones of the Brazilian sound but which have now entered the cultural-musical baggage of most of us: Ainda Bem, Jásei Namorar and Amor I Love You.
