Guided tours to discover Villa Chiminelli are back.
The Chiminelli family is opening its precious residence, also known as Villa Corner Tiepolo, to let people appreciate and get to know one of the jewels of the Marca Trevigiana. It is a sixteenth-century residence, built on a previous domus and commissioned by Francesco Soranzo, a Venetian nobleman and parish priest of S. Andrea Oltre il Muson.
The residence is based on the Palladian style and is characterised by its single body structure, as it was supposed to be a canonical house. The beauty of the Villa bewitches visitors, who are enraptured by the interior and exterior frescoes, painted by Benedetto Caliari, brother of Veronese. Visiting it, you will be enchanted by the pleasantness of the place, where you can appreciate the suggestive Italian garden.
It is open every third Sunday of the month from April to October, except for August.
