An unmissable event evening: the "Domingo Opera Night" will in fact be a unique opportunity to retrace, through the extraordinary voice of the tenor Placido Domingo, some pages taken from the most famous works of Giuseppe Verdi, with the great orchestra and choir of the Arena Foundation.
The world star Placido Domingo began his illustrious journey in Italy at the Verona Arena in the summer of 1969 and with one of Giuseppe Verdi's most complex and monumental works: Don Carlo, alongside other legends such as Montserrat Caballé, Birgit Nilsson, Piero Cappuccilli and Fiorenza Cossotto in fabulous settings.
Since then, an international career at the highest level has followed and is still unstoppable, as a tenor, baritone, conductor, general manager and mentor of young talents.
This operatic Gala evening in scenic form therefore consolidates the deep bond between the Veronese Amphitheater Opera Festival and this great artist, three years after the great Plácido Domingo 50 - Arena Anniversary Night event.
