The city of Castelfranco for the summer of 2022 kicks off its rich programme of summer shows at the open-air Arena of the Teatro Accademico, offering interesting cultural events.
Summer evenings in the open air to spend peaceful and entertaining hours, discovering the magic of music, the enchantment of the city's history, and admiring theatrical performances for young and old.
It will begin with the inauguration of the exhibition "Un saluto da Castelfranco - cartoline d'epoca dalla collezione di Giorgio Tonietto" (A greeting from Castelfranco - vintage postcards from Giorgio Tonietto's collection), an exhibition of historical images to travel through time and see how the city of Castelfranco has been transformed over the passage of time.
It will continue with various musical varieties such as Diego Basso's 'Ava live 2022' concert, an evening of Jazz music with the Veneto Jazz Association, and many other events.
An evening of a high cultural level with the presentation of a documentary dedicated to Titian and a recalling of the great castle painter Giorgione by the Museum is not to be missed.
Many other musical and other events for young and old, such as Alice in Wonderland on Sunday 7 August, will brighten up the castle summer.
