The Palio Remiero returns to Cavallino-Treporti with a new edition that honours the town’s deep rowing tradition.
This year’s race will take place along a new straight course on the Pordelio Canal, allowing spectators to follow the event from the panoramic cycle path along the water.
A full programme of side events will take place in the main square: free caorlina boat tours, children’s activities, the Sunset Run, two evening concerts, and the AgriGreenMarket with sustainable local products.
Gastronomic stands will offer traditional dishes, while associations and businesses promote lagoon preservation through the project “Living the lagoon slowly and consciously”.
As every year, an original artwork has been created for the Palio. This time, artist Umberto Menetto has captured the lagoon’s soul in a painting full of light, boats and tradition.
