From 8 to 19 May, Prosciutto Veneto D.O.P. finally returns, celebrating in Montagnana. A unique opportunity to taste this extraordinary product, to meet the ham factories of the Consortium for the protection of Veneto D.O.P. and to immerse yourself in the medieval atmosphere of this walled city, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Isola del Gusto, the large covered pavilion in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, will host the stands of the consortium's ham factories, each of which, in the elegant Sala Gourmet, will have a dedicated dinner to present their product, in a delicious menu theme. In addition to tastings of the main product of the festival, the pavilion will host a bar area, some patisseries, a cheese stand and a restaurant serving delicious first courses. Sala Gourmet, in an area of the pavilion, is accessible by reservation, and offers table service for tasting various ham seasonings combined with tasty first courses.
Over the weekend there will be guided tours to the ham factories, where the producers will illustrate the various phases of the seasoning. In addition, a rich program of guided tours is planned through the beauties of the city. On Sunday the festival will be enriched by a large antiques, vintage, handicraft and typical products market.
