L'Eroica, the traditional cycling race for amateurs that takes place every year on the Strade Bianche Senesi, returns to the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene for its third edition.
On Sunday 28 April 2024 it is Susegana that hosts the start of the "Nova Eroica Prosecco Hills" event, which from the foot of the hill that hosts the Castle of San Salvatore brings the 1,200 admitted participants to pedal in the saddle of modern racing bikes, gravel bikes or cyclocross bikes along the roads of the Treviso hill country, well known for its high cycling vocation and, above all, for the beauty of its landscape, traditions, nature and history.
Participants will have the opportunity to challenge themselves along the roads where great champions train every day and immersed in a landscape that is a World Heritage Site: the three proposed routes, respectively "Via dei Castelli" of about 50km for cycling, "Via delle Vigne Eroiche" of 93km for competitive cycling and "Lungo Via dei Laghi" of 120km, also competitive, will allow participants to pedal through unique environments, among medieval castles, ancient villages and the Alps.
"Nova Eroica Prosecco Hills" is therefore a unique experience, in the heart of a magnificent territory that leaves all participants breathless. But that's not all: participants can enjoy, celebrate and get to know the Hills thanks to the festival hosted in the same venue.
