The Bardolino Film Festival in its second edition From 15 to 19 June 2022 the Bardolino Film Festival - Images, sounds and words on the water - returns.
The event will be held at Lido Mirabello in Bardolino on the lakeside overlooking the waters of the Benaco. The festival is organised and supported by the Municipality of Bardolino, under the artistic direction of journalist and film critic Franco Dassisti. This is the second edition, which confirms itself as an event rich in unique contents in a location of unparalleled charm. The theme that will accompany the 2022 edition is "Children of the Earth": the selection of the Bardolino Film Festival will present works that directly address these issues: man's relationship with the land and the environment that surrounds him; the green transition and the link with his roots, society and culture.
Once again this year there will be two competitions. One dedicated to documentaries and the other to short films, with a wide selection of Italian and international titles. For each of the two competitive sections, BFF Doc and BFF Short, the Best Film Award will be assigned.
In addition to the programming of the films in competition, the festival will offer five special evenings by the lake. During these evenings the films of the current film season that best illustrate the theme of this edition will be presented. Also the 2022 edition will propose the BFF Books section, dedicated to meetings with the authors of books in line with the main theme of the Festival.
