"I could watch Fellini's films on the radio...", this statement by Roger Ebert (1942-2013), film critic of the Chicago Sun Times, encapsulates the meaning of the five episodes of this musical journey into the artistic world of Nino Rota (1911-1979) and Federico Fellini (1920-1993).

Radio by birth and constitution is 'blind', but the relationship between the musician Rota and the director Fellini was such that, as the American critic wrote, the Rimini director's films were 'visible through the music' of the Milanese musician. Like all languages, they must be understood and known. This route aims to allow the public to enjoy the various musical languages.

The cinematic poetics of Federico Fellini and the sweetness of Nino Rota's music intertwine like two souls embracing each other. Fellini, with his surreal and poetic vision of the world, paints images of life and dreams. Rota's music, with its sweetness and emotional richness, accompanies and amplifies these visions, enveloping the audience in an embrace that caresses the soul. Their artistic relationship is a delicate and powerful dance in which Fellini's images come to life through Rota's sounds, creating an unforgettable cinematic experience that seeps into the spectator's heart and imagination.
