The appointment with the spring edition of #VisitConegliano, the series of guided tours and naturalistic excursions that accompany tourists and visitors to discover the city of Cima, is back.
It opens on Saturday 20 April with a nature walk in the Ogliano hills entitled "Sfumature dorate". It continues on 25 April with a guided tour entitled 'Conegliano tra Ottocento e Novecento' (Conegliano between the 19th and 20th centuries), dedicated to the city's more recent history.
From modern history we then move on to antiquity: Saturday 4 May sees the "Conegliano Archeologica" (Archaeological Conegliano), with an itinerary around the city to talk about its birth and history, from prehistory to the Middle Ages. Saturday 18 May, "Passeggiando accanto al fiume" ("Walking by the river") concludes with a twilight excursion along the Monticano, a river that flows through the city.
There are three appointments in June: Saturday 1 is a tour dedicated to Conegliano at the time of Riccardo Perucolo, while the visit on Saturday 15 is dedicated to the inscriptions on the city walls. Closing is 'Industrial History' on 29 June, with a tour dedicated to old factories and converted industrial sites, for a different perspective on the city's economic history.
All visits are free of charge. Places are limited and booking is required, by contacting the Conegliano IAT office.
