The title of this edition, 'inSustainable - When News Challenges Events'.

After having closed the 'city' section a few days ago, for the third consecutive year the Verona Journalism Festival - now in its fourth edition - continues in the coming weeks with the EXTRA part, dedicated to the province of Verona. Four evenings in as many venues, from the Bassa to the Valpolicella via the lake, in which various topics will be addressed: from sport to the underworld to close with the economy and international geopolitics. After Legnago and Povegliano Veronese, it is the turn of Bardolino.

A now traditional stage of the EXTRA Festival is Bardolino and the splendid Villa Carrara Bottagisio, where on 14 April at 6 p.m. Paolo Biondani (journalist from L'Espresso) and Ombretta Ingrascì (researcher and writer) will introduce us to their 'Storie di malavita'. What role have women played within the mafia? And how has this role changed over the last thirty years? The presence of women within particular mafia contexts has always been underestimated, but it is necessary to investigate the multiform and contradictory female universe of Cosa Nostra and 'ndrangheta, grasping the traits of continuity and break with the past. Introduced and moderated by Pier Paolo Romani, journalist and national coordinator of Avviso Pubblico.

The fourth edition of the Festival will end on Monday 6 May in Valgatara.
