The nineteenth-century architectural complex of Villa Buzzati, today Ferrante, and the annexed rustic Villa stands on the top of a pleasant hill overlooking the valley of the Cordevole and Mis streams, on the slopes of the Sospirolese mountains protected by the National Park of the Belluno Dolomites: the Monti del Sole . “The Mis canal is one of the most romantic and wild places I have ever known. The minimal external signs of progress, the very steep, rugged mountains, with an exceptional gradient of mystery "so as to experience a"solitude comparable to that of deserts": so wrote Dino Buzzati, universally known as one of the greatest writers of the twentieth century. The spectacular view, which can be enjoyed from the hill on which the agricultural-manor architectural complex stands, has given the town its name: Belvedere. Excellences de la villa: The imposing rustic building, with the pavilion roof towards the manor house, testifies to the center of rural life that revolved around the adjacent Venetian Villa: the peasant house with the typical "larin" room, the brick artifact for the laundry ("smooth"), the arched doors of the warehouse ("tièda") with the overhanging barn. The rustic part of the barn for agricultural use with cobbled paving ("cogolà) and the four stone columns above which, on the first, the large volume of the barn opens up. Characteristic is its portico towards the south and the passage from east to west which allowed agricultural vehicles to cross the building completely. The rustic annex of Villa Buzzati is now home to the homonymous organic farm "Al Belvedere di Toigo Carla".

En voiture: Highway A 27 towards Belluno. At the exit continue towards Agordo: upon reaching Mas, turn left across the bridge, to continue left again for about 2.5 km: the rustic annex of Villa Buzzati-Ferrante will be on your left taking the avenue hornbeam

En avion: From the Venice or Treviso airport, take the A 27 motorway towards Belluno

En train: When you arrive at the Sedico-Bribano station, cross the bridge over the Cordevole torrent, at the roundabout, the first exit on the right towards Meano. Following the SP2, in the locality of Cazzaghe at the roundabout, taking the first exit, you will reach the locality of Belvedere.

En autobus: At the Belluno station, Dolomitibus bus to Sospirolo: stop at the Belvedere location request.

En vélo: From the Sedico -Bribano railway station, go up the Sr203 towards Roe, at Vignole cross the bridge in Tappole, you will reach Masiere, turn left to take the SP12 ..At 2 km, you will find the Annex rustic of villa Buzzati-Ferrante taking the avenue of hornbeams on the left.
