Le Colline del Palladio is a new Company, for the organization of tourist group in the first Villa built by Andrea Palladio, Gala dinner, convention, meeting, wine and food tasting, tourist visit……….all you need for special moment in Vicenza Villa Godi Malinverni is the first villa designed and built in 1542 by the architect Andrea Palladio. The villa, sited above the Astico valley, offers a magnificent landscape. Large gardens with statues by Albanese and Marinali embrace the central front, while in the back a secular park lies, with Italian gardens, cosy ponds and large green areas with unique and original trees. The villa includes all the Palladio principles: a central body, the “noble floors”, two side wings where the room for the normal life are located, and the “barchesse” with a pigeon house. The central body is made of nine rooms with frescoes and original furniture of Italian 16th and 17th centuries, and an entrance from which a marvellous sight of the valley can be enjoyed. Three great artists created the big painting work inside the first floor: Gualtiero Padovano, Giambattista Zelotti e Battista del Moro. Inside the villa, at the ground floor, you can visit the great kitchen (16th century), one of the most peculiar of that time.
