The production area of Bardolino DOC wine and its rosè version, Chiaretto, occupies the Venetian sector of the morainic amphitheatre of Lake Garda: from the coast to the hills of the hinterland. An area rich in landscapes, architectural memories (castles, villas, churches), food and wine production, facilities and spaces for vacation and relaxation. The Bardolino Wine Route is 80 kilometres long.
From Bardolino it reaches the hills of Costermano and then descends to Garda and Torri del Benaco. Back in Bardolino, go up towards Cavaion Veronese, Affi, Caprino Veronese and Rivoli Veronese to reach Mount Baldo. The route south leads to Pastrengo, Castelnuovo del Garda and Lazise, from where it continues to Peschiera del Garda and Valeggio sul Mincio, reaching Sommacampagna, Sona and Bussolengo.
For an aperitif at sunset this week Azienda Agricola Cà Bottura awaits you, in the heart of the classic area of Bardolino, climbing the road to Albarè di Costermano, a few meters from the picturesque Eremo San Giorgio. From 6.30 pm to 9 pm tastings of two glasses of wine in the company of producers who will explain their work in the context of the wine-growing area of Bardolino. The cost of the aperitif is € 10 and includes two wines between Bardolino DOC, Bardolino Superiore DOC, Bardolino Chiaretto DOC and Bardolino Chiaretto Spumante with some appetizers.
