Giardini Aperti (Open Gardens), during which gardens, courtyards and private and public green spaces will be open to visitors, is an opportunity to see little-known places, discover new corners and views, see what's behind a door that has always been closed. Especially for the Veronese it will be an opportunity to get to know a part of the city with a different perspective and venture outside the normal paths, with the generous help of the owners of the gardens who, for a weekend, will make their spaces available. This first edition will take place in the district of Veronetta, a part of the city still marginally affected by tourism, but very rich in gardens and paths in the countryside, a district with a great historical value that needs to be known and enhanced. The event aims to raise awareness among visitors about the landscape and greenery in the city and will attract people who are passionate about plants and gardens, but not only. It will not be the festival of "beautiful gardens", but of green spaces. This means that not only gardens can be visited, but also green spaces that simply tell the story of the neighborhood and that can develop in the visitor a greater awareness of the richness of their territory. The gardens will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 to 6.30 p.m., unless otherwise indicated. Tickets will be on sale at the IAT in Piazza Bra from May 20th.
