Set up in the ground floor room of the Museo del Gioiello (Jewellery Museum) in Vicenza, this exhibition features jewels, the excellence of the Vicenza artisan and manufacturing tradition that symbolically links the city to the artistic production of ancient Egypt. 

Beetles, lotus flowers, the eye of Horus in the form of an amulet, necklaces and bracelets in terracotta, strands of pearls and ivory rings and seals with the name of the pharaoh: these are just some of the objects that will be on display at the Museum. Beauty in Ancient Egypt will offer visitors and tourists the opportunity to explore the relationship with beauty and fashion in the daily lives of the inhabitants of Dehir el-Medina, through precious relics found in the village inhabited by the most renowned artisans of the period of the royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings and Queens.
