Workshop, School, Academy
The exhibition, curated by Francesca Rossi, aims to bring attention to the most dynamic and beloved art school in Verona between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, a line of artists who grew up in the family's workshop, that of Domenico and Felice Brusasorzi.
The exhibition is a sort of dossier with fifty works including paintings, drawings, musical instruments and documents, some of which were presented for the first time to the public.
Alongside the works of the civic collections are important loans granted by the collections of the Accademia Filarmonica di Verona, the Cariverona Foundation, the Banco BPM, and private collectors.
