For the centenary of the death of Noè Bordignon, Castelfranco Veneto and San Zenone degli Ezzelini celebrate the painter with an important monographic exhibition dedicated to him.
The exhibition will turn the spotlight between Realism and Symbolism, with more than 60 works by the painter and with his major masterpieces such as "The blind fly", "The pappa al fogo" and "For America (Migrants)".
It will be possible to admire both the themes that characterized Bordignon's painting, as well as scenes of rural life, portraits of young girls in their daily life, and interesting comparisons between Bordignon's painting and that of his contemporaries such as Ciardi, Milesi and Zandomeneghi.
This exhibition is not only the result of numerous researches, but also a starting point for discovering the artist's place, thanks to an itinerary among villages and landscapes including eleven municipalities in the Treviso and Vicenza areas.
The Casa Giorgione Museum in Castelfranco Veneto and Villa Marini Rubelli in San Zenone degli Ezzelini host the exhibition.
The Museum will be open on Tuesday and Wedsneday from 10 AM to 1 PM, from Thurday to Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM. The entrance fee is 10 € (adults), 7 € (reduced), 5€ (schools).
