Giardini Aperti (Open Gardens), during which private and public gardens, courtyards and green spaces will be opened to visitors, is an opportunity to see little-known places, discover new corners and views, see what's behind a door that has always been closed.
In this second edition it will be possible to visit 28 of Veronetta's gardens, courtyards and green spaces, from the San Giorgio bastion with the magnificent Municipal Greenhouses to the Natural History Museum and the Maddalene bastion, a district still marginally interested in tourism and full of gardens and nature trails.
Private and public spaces that tell the story and the many souls of the neighborhood and help to understand the irreplaceable function of plants within the urban space.
The event aims to raise awareness among visitors on the issues of landscape and greenery in the city and will attract people who are passionate about plants and gardens, but not only.
It will not be the festival of “beautiful gardens”, but of green spaces. This means that not only gardens can be visited, but also green spaces that simply tell the story of the neighborhood and that can develop in the visitor a greater awareness of the richness of their territory.
The gardens will be open from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
