Castelfranco Veneto celebrates the 1600th Venice birthday with a new and unique comics exhibition, in the Academic Theatre Gallery.
Zorzi (Giorgio) Semitecolo, Venetian podestà, is the main character of the story told by the exhibition: his life and his work in Castelfranco are analysed and presented. The story is based on the historical analysis and study of life in Castelfranco in the 16th century, when Zorzi Semitecolo was "mayor" of the city.
Visiting the exhibition, you will discover how life was at that time and feel how was to be mainland dominion of Serenissima. You will live a real experience with Semitecolo in the old town: the characters cutout of the story will welcome you to the city centre and "tell" you a Venetian history in Castelfranco.
The vernissage will take place Sunday, the 13th June at 11 AM. It is compulsory to book your place to participate. You can visit the exhibition from Tuesday to Saturday from 4 PM to 9 PM, on Sundays and holidays from 10 AM to 12.30 PM and from 4 PM to 7 PM.
