The Exhibition is officially recognized by FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers' Associations) and aims to promote the knowledge and diffusion of international cinema in all its forms of art, entertainment and industry, with a spirit of freedom and dialogue.
The exhibition also organizes retrospectives and tributes to prominent personalities, with the purpose of contributing to a better knowledge of the history of cinema. The intention of the Venice Biennale this year is to facilitate the participation of university students in the Exhibition, offering a special promotion of the Cinema Accreditation for University Students during the 11 days of the Exhibition, at a price of € 70 (Early Bird rate to be requested by 30 June 2021, with online payment by 8 July 2021).
The Cinema Accreditation for University Students can be requested by Italian and foreign university students of all courses of study. The accreditation will be valid for all 11 days of the 78th Exhibition (1 – 11 September 2021) and will allow viewing all the films of the festival in the screenings where "All the accreditations" access is granted (over 200 screenings).
In addition, the Cinema Accreditation for University Students allows online viewing all the works in the Venice VR Expanded section and the access to the free admission conferences organised by the Venice Production Bridge.
