The Verona Tourist Office organizes special guided tours, which will take you to discover the history and beauties of the Scaliger historical center.
The visits, lasting about an hour and thirty minutes, are held every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays at 11 a.m. (in Italian and English).
The meeting point of the tours is our Tourist Office, in via degli Alpini number 9. The price is € 12.00 per person (free for children up to 14 years).
Booking is not necessary: just go to our Tourist Information and Reception Office, pay the participation and join the tour. A wonderful opportunity to discover a city rich in history, art and architectural beauties. The city that was Roman, and then also the stage of the greatest love story of all times, that of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet; the prestigious seat of the Scaliger lordship, the "first refuge and first hostel" of the great poet Dante Alighieri in his exile from Florence, during which he was housed in the home of Cangrande I della Scala, to whom he dedicated the entire canticle of the Divine Paradise Comedy.
