From November 2020 to May 2021, Teatro Ristori will be hosting six prestigious events in the context of its dance season.

The festival opens on Friday, November 20th with the premiere performance of the production of the Teatro Ristori called Calling Bach – Spirits from BWV, with live music by Bach and Picco performed by the polyhedral duo Cesare Picco and Taketo Gohara, assisted by sound engineer Daniele Valentini. The dancers Stefano Roveda, Lucrezia Gabrieli and Manolo Perraz dance on a choreography curated by Camilla Monga.

The second date is on Thursday, January 21st with the Mvula Sungani Physical Dance Company, which will perform Le altre stagioni, on choreographies by Mvula Sungani and Emanuela Bianchin.

The festival continues on Wednesday, February 3rd with Golden Variations, with the live accompaniment of the first trombone Filippo Vignato.

The evening of February 26th will be dedicated to a new production of the Fondazione Nazionale della Danza Aterballetto called Stories, created by Philippe Kratz and Diego Tortelli.

The last two appointments of an exceptional season are on Friday, April 16th with the MM Contemporary Dance Company in the show Contemporary Men, curated by Mauro Bigonzetti, Eugenio Scigliano and Michele Merola and on Friday, May 7th with the Tribute to Astor Piazzolla by Compagnia Tango x2, accompanied by Miguel Angel Zotto and Daiana Guspero.

All shows start at 8.30 pm.
