From October 2020 to April 2021, the Ristori Theatre proposes, in the context of its concert season, eight musical encounters that will see brilliant names from the world of fascinating baroque music's world.
The festival opens on Friday 9th October with the Venice Baroque Orchestra (Julia Lezhneva - soprano and Andrea Marcon - harpsichord concert master), performing music by Corelli, Vivaldi, Handel and Graun.
The second appointment is on Friday 16th October with Accademia dell'Annunciata (Giuliano Carmignola - violin and Riccardo Doni - harpsichord maestro), with music by Handel, Vivaldi, Tartini and Bach.
The review continues in November, on Wednesday 25th, with Ensemble Odhecaton in Claudio Monteverdi in San Marco (Paolo Da Col - conductor), and on Friday December 4th with the Ensemble Zefiro in L'epoca d'oro di oboe e fagotto.
The evening of January 23rd is dedicated to the show Gypsy Baroque - The gypsy bands of the XVIII century, with Il Suono Parlante Orchestra (Vittorio Ghielmi - viola and conducting).
Last three appointments of the season: on Friday March 5th with Europa Galante (Fabio Biondi - conductor and solo violinist), on Friday March 26th with La Magnifica Comunità (Enrico Casazza - concertmaster at the violin) and on Friday April 23rd with Sonatori De La Goiosa Marca (Dorothée Oberlinger - recorder flutes).
