Finals of the Alpine Skiing World Cup, Cortina 2020

The weekend of 18-22 March 2020 marks the great return of men’s skiing to the “Queen of the Dolomites”. Five days of races and events, 9 races in total and the awarding of 12 specialist titles, 2 general titles and 2 national titles.  An event that will bring around 150 athletes from 20 countries and over 28,000 spectators to Cortina d’Ampezzo.

Casparetha (Canale d'Agordo)

A stunning night snowshoe walk in the snow will take place on Saturday 1 February 2020.  The 5 km route takes you from the main square of Canale d'Agordo to Lastei Campsite, in the beautiful Valle di Gares. Upon arrival, you will be offered a hearty dinner, followed by prize and a lively party open to all.

Transcavallo 2020

One of the most exciting ski mountaineering races. The 37th edition of the competition will be held from 14 to 16 February in Alpago (Belluno). The course covers more than 50 km in total with a difference in altitude of 10,000 m, of which 5,500 m is D+. The Coppa Italia FISI individual race for the youth categories is scheduled for 16 February.

Cortina Snow Run

The Cortina Snow Run will take place on Saturday 22 February: it is a semi self-sufficient night-time race in the mountains.  The race distance is around 17 km, with a climb of 1,380 metres, to be completed within the time limit of 4 hours 30 minutes. The mini trail is approximately 9.5 km, with an ascent of 555 metres, to be completed within the time limit of 2 hours

Asiago Winter Triathlon World Championships

The Winter Triathlon World Championships return to Italy. And there could be no better place than the Asiago Plateau, a place particularly suited to Nordic skiing. This great international event will take place from 7 to 9 February. All races will take place on the snow: running, cycling (on mountain bikes with plus or semi-plus tyres) and cross-country skiing
