Open-air exhibition created on the occasion of the third edition of VIOFF, Vicenzaoro Fuori Fiera dedicated to the Golden Arts, which took place in September.

An event conceived, desired and staged by the Dalì Universe, one of the world’s largest private collections of works by the Catalan artist, curated by Beniamino Levi, in collaboration with Italian Exhibition Group and the Vicenza Municipal Authority. Until 26 January 2020, the characteristic majestic buildings of the city of Vicenza, designed by Andrea Palladio, encounter the undisputed protagonist of Golden Arts, Salvador Dalì.

The Catalan artist, who never hid his profound admiration for Palladio, to point that he described him "el archetype de lo daliniano", will dominate the scene with the exclusive exhibition of some of his sculptures. Framed by the city, classicism and surrealism, ancient and modern will merge in perfect harmony.

In the old city centre, in the most emblematic places overlooked by the palazzi, churches, villas and Palladian portals that earned in 1994 Vicenza’s nomination as UNESCO World Heritage site, the following works will be exhibited: Space Venus (Piazza Matteotti), Triumph Elephant (Piazza dei Signori), Dalian Dancer (Basilica Palladiana), Dance of Time III (Piazza San Lorenzo), Surrealist Piano (Conta' Cavour, on the corner of Corso Palladio), Dance of Time I (Piazza delle Erbe), Homage to Terpsichore (Campo Marzo).
