Verona celebrates the noteworthy milestone of the 75th edition of the Verona Theatre Summer, with leading Italian and international protagonists. From 20 June to 13 September, the Festival will bring a remarkable 48 evenings of live shows to Verona.

Much space will be awarded to the younger generations, inclusive dance, international music, and the interaction between performative arts and museums. As usual, there are three sections to the event: prose, dance and music, during which 14 Italian premieres and 7 co-productions will take place. Giuliana De Sio, Laura Morante, Alessandro Preziosi, Lino Guanciale, Paolo Fresu and Tony Hadley are just some of the big names that Summer Theatre is bringing to Verona.

For the prose section, the programme dedicated to theatre will be divided into two sub-sections: the Shakespearian Festival and Settembre Classico. Dance will also be influenced by Shakespeare, with a programme that presents timeless stories and characters. In the music section, there are many jazz events as well as a special section dedicated to different, experimental sounds.
