Wednesday 24th May Caorle will host the arrival of the 17th stage of the Giro d'Italia.
The most important Italian cycling race is one of the most famous and followed in the world:more than 195 nations will broadcast the Giro for almost 400 million spectatores.
The 17th stage of the Giro will start from Pergine Valsugana (TN) and pass over Bassano Del Grappa (VI), Castelfranco Veneto, Silea (TV), Jesolo Lido, Eraclea, Duna Verde, Valle Altanea, Porto Santa Margherita, before the arrivalin Strada Traghete in Caorle. A 195-kilometre stage suitable for sprinters which, therefore, will be able to excite the large crowd who will be waiting for the cyclists to arrive.
