The Arena di Verona Foundation is pleased to announce the rich program of the 2022 Symphonic Season at the Philharmonic Theater. The intense program features internationally renowned artists and conductors and presents 10 concerts in double evenings from 11 February to 26 November. The shows will be offered on Friday evenings or Saturday afternoons.

For the first concert scheduled, the Arena Orchestra and Choir (directed by Maestro Ulisse Trabacchin) undertake to pay homage to Beethoven and Brahms.

Beethoven's 250th anniversary is completed over the course of the 2022 season, after passing through major symphonies and piano concerts. The program combines the grace and panache of his Symphony No. 2 in D to the stormy romanticism of the Coriolan Overture.

The two masterpieces frame the Rhapsody for contralto, male choir and orchestra by Johannes Brahms, on verses by Goethe. Conducting the orchestra will be the young New York master James Feddeck, former conductor in Chicago and at the most important orchestras in Europe, with contralto Marianna Pizzolato in the Brahmsian rhapsody.
