Within the "Verona Shakespeare Fringe Festival" section of the Verona theatrical summer, the Municipality of Verona and the Skenè Research Center of the University of Verona present a week of shows, in the original language with English subtitles, staged by companies from all over the world.
The theatrical review will take place at the Camploy theater from 23 to 28 August.
There will be eight shows staged by companies from Greece, Ukraine, Norway, Georgia, Serbia and Italy. All in the original language, with English subtitles, to immerse the viewer in a totally international dimension through performances ranging from live to multimedia.
The review aims to enhance Shakespeare's work in an experimental and innovative way and to enrich the city's cultural offer.
The Fringe Festival presents the ways through which Shakespeare continues to give voice to the collective imagination, starting from a plurality of angles, confirming its vitality and topicality and is counting on international partners this year as well.
