You need to be in shape, both psychologically and physically, and you must have the right equipment to be able to face all weather conditions.
The Comelico Valley is home to over 30 kilometres of trails that wind their way around the stunning tourist circuit, starting from the Cross-Country Skiing Stadium and reaching all the way up to Val Grande, following the beautiful sloping fir trees dating back centuries and even passing by the “Terme delle Dolomiti” spa, in the magnificent Padola di Comelico Superiore valley.
The trails are suitable for all levels, from beginners to athletes and enthusiasts. A 2km-long lit circuit is also available, allowing you to ski by night.
The valley also offers dozens of kilometres of well-prepared paths for comfortable and charming walks on the snow or with snow shoes, allowing you to experience this stunning and unspoilt valley in almost unreal tranquillity.
Carnival is particularly popular in Comelico Superiore and, every year in the weeks leading up to Easter, the area gets ready for the traditional "maskarada” (masquerade). An ancient, popular tradition that has been joyfully repeated for many years now (info).
