From 7 October 2022 to 29 January 2023, Palazzo Sarcinelli will host the photographic exposition "Ron Galella, Paparazzo Superstar" edited by Alberto Damian, and organised by Sime Books in collaboration with the City of Conegliano.

Ron Galella, born in New York in 1931, started taking pictures of celebrities during film premieres, selling his images to the main tabloids.
Galella became famous for his photographic approach, capturing the everyday life of celebrities. "Ron Galella, Paparazzo Superstar" is the world's first retrospective of the photographer's work.
The exhibition brings together more than 180 portraits of celebrities, actors, musicians and artists from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, selected from more than 3 million shots: the photographs, mostly in black and white, are illustrated with the story of how they were taken.

One room of the exhibition is dedicated to Jackie Kennedy Onassis, defined by Galella as "my obsession and my personal Monnalisa" to whom he took the famous image called "Windblown Jackie" considered by Time magazine as "one of the 100 most influential photographs in the history of photography".

The exhibition is open from Wednesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
