Molinetto della Croda is a historical water mill from the sixteen century situated in the Lierza Valley, in the town of Refrontolo in the Treviso province. It is a typical example of rural architecture with original foundations which are set into the rocky face of the mountain - the Croda. Over time the water mill has undergone a number of extensions, to then include also the houses of the families of mill workers. Used until 1953, the mill was then abandoned until work began to restore it, renovating the structure and functioning of the old mill.

Today, Molinetto della Croda is one of just a few functioning water mills and is testimony to the historical rural culture. Immersed in a charming natural landscape, it is open to the public as a working museum which, as well as telling the story of the milling and the land, also plays host to shows and art exhibitions. All around the area of Molinetto, trips in the surrounding nature can be made, and in the period between March and the end of October it is possible to have a lovely picnic in the equipped area outside the building.

Do not miss the demonstration of the mill that grinds cornmeal and a stroll along the nature trail near the waterfall.
