Cortina d'Ampezzo owes much of its fame to its geographical setting, located in a wide valley surrounded by the Tofane, Cristallo, Sorapiss, and Croda da Lago. An environment protected by the Ampezzo Dolomites Natural Park.

Cortina has as many as 17 MTB routes for a total of 700 km running on marked tracks.

They range from scenic routes at high altitude to adrenalin inducing descents for freeriders, as well as easy routes for families and for people who just want to relax.

Try the new Bike Park for downhill lovers and the brand new Skill Parks for the little ones, where they can set out on their first MTB routes under the supervision of experienced instructors.

Even the most demanding routes and sought out goals become accessible and affordable for everyone. Cortina rentals have E-Bikes available (the latest generation of electric MTBs).


Tour of the 5 refuges

Is one of the reference itineraries of MTB excursions thanks to its extraordinary high mountain setting. The route touches upon 5 Dolomite refuges in 38 km and the Lake of Fanes offering postcard views over the Ampezzo Valley.

The return to Cortina is along the Boite brook with a short descent that ends on the cycle path of the Dolomites.
