The 2022/23 jazz season of the Ristori Theater is developed under the banner of research and innovation, concepts that are the guiding thread of the eight unmissable dates of the festival.
The first appointment is Wednesday 19th October with Gianluca Petrella, a transversal artist who brings his album Cosmic Renaissance to the stage.
On October 28th Steve Turre & Marco Marzola “Trio”: great jazz innovator, together with Marco Marzola on double bass and electric bass, Xavier Davis on piano and Orion Turre on drums.
It continues on November 10th with Joe Lovano, one of the greatest musicians in the history of jazz, who will be accompanied by the Marcin Wasilewski Trio.
To close the autumn concert session, on November 24th Avishai Cohen Quartet with Naked Truth.
The first spring concert, on the other hand, will be entrusted to Andrea Motis: on March 23rd, the Spanish singer presents a trio concert, ranging in her repertoire.
Saturday 15 April a jazz legend together with a classical quartet: Uri Caine with the Lutoslawski Quartet.
The penultimate appointment on April 21st is with Fabrizio Bosso Quartet, and to close the festival on April 30th, International Jazz Day, an elegant and passionate concert performed by Gegè Telesforo.
