Also in 2023 Arabba and the Fodom Valley will be protagonists of the passage of the #Giro2023 together with the most beautiful Passes of the Dolomites that will surely know how to honor in the best way the 106th edition of the "Corsa Rosa" (Pink cycling-race).

The cycling race organized by RCS - La Gazzetta dello Sport will start from the Costa dei Trabocchi on Saturday 06/05/2023 and end in Rome on Sunday 28/05/2023. Giro d'Italia #AmoreInfinito 2023, the name by which the race has been christened, will consist of 21 stages for a total of 51,300 meters of elevation gain in its 3,448.6 total kilometers to be covered.

The 19th stage: Longarone - Tre Cime di Lavaredo on Friday, May 26 is "the day," the start in Longarone, is full of memories, October 6, 1963, 60 years so in 2023 will have passed since the collapse of the dam in Vajont in which 1917 people lost their lives. The finish will be at the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, which "shark" VincenzoNibali made his own in 2013 by winning under a snowstorm. Slopes approaching 20 percent, one of the Giro's historic peaks that is scary just to pronounce. After the approach through the Agordino area you face more than 100 kilometers that encapsulate virtually the entire elevation gain of the stage with no rest section between climbs. Arriving in the Fodom Valley, in Arabba we climb the Campolongo Pass followed by the Valparola Pass that leads into the "Holy Staircase" of Dolomite climbs consisting of the Giau Pass (Selva di Cadore side 10% average or so), Tre Croci Pass and Tre Cime di Lavaredo with its gradients up to 18%.

#savethedate 26.05.2023 Longarone - Tre Cime di Lavaredo is the most exciting stage of the Giro d'Italia, the cyclists will have to face a course of no less than 182 km, with the ascent of 4 and a half Passes: Campolongo, Valparola, Giau and Tre Croci, Tre Cime di Lavaredo climb for an elevation gain of 5,400 meters. A fraction for real climbers.
