CHRISTMAS IN THE VENETO REGION


Also in Veneto, the charming Christmas markets are ready to welcome you with lights, decorations, handcrafted products, events and lots of joy, all in complete safety. At the most magical time of year, come and discover not only our most famous cities decorated for the celebrations but also small mountain and even seaside resorts! Stroll among the traditional wooden huts and stalls, where you will surely find original gifts and tasty treats for you to serve up at home. And if it's cold, don't worry: warm up your body and soul with cups of hot chocolate and delicious mulled wine.

Verona

The Christkindlmarkt, the beloved markets of Nuremberg, are back as always in the historic centre of Verona. Until 26 December you will find many gift ideas in the traditional wooden huts: from wooden items to handmade scarves, from natural soaps to Christmas items, along with classic cured meats, artisanal liqueurs and festive sweets. It’s a unique opportunity to treat yourself to a special moment, enwrapped in the magical Christmas atmosphere of this Scaliger city.


Bardolino

Lake Garda is already gearing up for this magical time of year. From 4 December to 9 January along the Lenotti lakeside in Bardolino, there will be the traditional Christmas Market where you can taste and buy gastronomic delights from the Garda region and many original gifts. The Christmas programme poster in Bardolino is packed with events, including an indoor ice skating rink to delight the little ones, and a large Ferris wheel which offers you incredible views of unforgettable sunsets over Lake Garda.

Asiago

You have until 9 January 2022 to visit the Christmas market in the city of Asiago. The vendors’ wooden huts are finally back this year in the gardens of Piazza Carli and Piazza II Risorgimento. And while the children are having fun on the carousel, you can enjoy local delights such as the famous Asiago DOP cheese, and sip mulled wine or hot chocolate.


Vicenza

Sparkling lights, Christmas trees, festive markets and guided tours will give the historic centre of Vicenza a magical atmosphere. From 4 December to 6 January in Corso Palladio, Corso Fogazzaro and Piazza San Lorenzo, traditional wooden huts will be set up where you can find all the best in craftsmanship and local food and wine. It’s a unique event where visitors can enjoy the traditional Christmas markets, and the best local and festive foods and wine.

Cison di Valmarino

The Christmas event of Cison di Valmarino, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, is entitled ‘Christmas Stars’. With concerts, child-friendly events, stalls full of food and wine products, decorations and gifts, there is surely something for everyone. If you come in the evening, the village of Cison will be even more enchanting, thanks to the magical soft lights that will illuminate the alleyways.


Caorle Wonderland

The famous seaside resort of the Adriatic Riviera reinterprets the tradition of northern European markets with its Christmas Village, a space dedicated to imagination, play and gastronomic delights. The smart wooden huts will showcase handcrafted products and delicious goodies of all kinds.
