From 15th to 28th February 2024 the Ristori Baroque Festival returns in its second edition, which includes concerts, insights, masterclasses and meetings with the artists.

Seven events of baroque music, some with surprising influences, between the Teatro Ristori and the Spazio di San Pietro in Monastero.

Maestro Jordi Savall opens the Festival with the Hesperion XXI ensemble in the concert “Folias & Canarios”. The second appointment is with Ottavio Dantone with the French contralto Dephine Galou and the Byzantine Academy in "La porta del cielo". On February 18th the concert moves to the Spazio di San Pietro in Monastero, with the Trio Leonardo who will interpret J. S. Bach.

We continue with the trumpet and flugelhorn of Paolo Fresu in “Back to Bach 2.0” with I Virtuosi Italiani, where baroque music meets jazz. On February 23rd, Lucile Boulanger, violist, will perform the music for the dance show Phenix. In the penultimate event, the Spazio di San Pietro in Monastero will welcome the violinist Julian Kainrath for a program that includes Sonatas and Partitas by J. S. Bach.

Federico Guglielmo will close the second edition of the  festival with the L'Arte dell'Arco orchestra, for "The concerts for the emperor - The Habsburg zither".

All shows start at 8.30pm.
